DescriptionThis small cylinder organ model, the "Cornettino," has 30 keys. The organ pipes are divided into four stops: covered, piccolo 1, piccolo 2 and trumpet (brass).
Accompanying textsThe cylinder has 8 tunes and was possibly arranged by John Cocchi Jr. The repertoire consists of English-language songs from the late 1910s, including 3 from 1917: ‘Oh Johnny Oh’, by Abe Olman and Ed Rose; ‘Oh it's a lovely war’, by J.P. Long and Maurice Scott; and ‘What do you want to make those eyes at me for’ by Joseph McCarthy, James V. Monaco, and Howard Johnson.
