DescriptionThe Robot Flute by artist Casper de Jong is an exploration of the question of whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) can reciprocate our human emotions with music and at the same time create compositions based on our emotions. The Robot Flute does this by reading our faces and then creating a musical composition. Because this Robot Flute is a pioneer in the field of robots that convert human emotions into music, the artist chose to start with the pure musical basics, namely learning an emotional composition on a recorder.

In his art he looks for ways to attract participants to the installation and get them thinking about social and technological topics. In his interactive exhibition design he triggers people to experience art, design and knowledge on a new level.
